                                            IJCS choir sang "Stable Suite"

                                 Church school kids played Christmas pageant.

                                  Ms.T was baptized this day and rejoiced with
                                  Rev. Ito.

                                   IJCS had Christmas Performance @Orchard,
                                   main street of Singapore as one of CCIS programs.
                                   Children sang Christmas Carols in both Japanese
                                    and English.
                    

                                   IJCS choir also sing Christmas carols.
                                   Singaporean members also enjoy wearing
                                   Japanese "Yukata".
                  

                                    Sunday School children practiced Christmas
                                    pageant and performed it at Christmas Service
                                    on Dec.22.

                                 The third camdle, the light of "Joy" is on.

          IJCS choir is working hard to preparing for Christmas.

We have 20 choir members this year!

The choir will sing on Christmas Day Service on 25th.

They will sing 9 songs. 

They also sing at Christmas worship on 22nd,

and Orchard Christmas Celebration on 21st.

   We are in a week of Lottie Moon Christmas World Mission.
I have just receiced handmade Christmas card from Tsukuba Baptist Church children.
Many churches in Japan are praying for IJCS especially this week.
  We will observe Advent from Dec.1.  IJCS will have this coming week worship service  at Fellowship Hall on 1st floor.  
 Hope to see you!  We will have Lord's Supper and December Birthday Blessing.

      baptism service.

     Church choir, Christmas mine, Christmas message

English interpretation will be provided.
Light refreshments  will be follow after the service.

We had a great time at Pulai Springs Resort at Johor, Malaysia from Nov 2 and 3rd.
The family camp this year theme was " Together We pray!"
We enjoyed fellowship, very delicious meals!!  good seminar about prayer,  games and swimming !   
God is great and we are special ! 
Each one of us is very special.

IJCS has prayer meeting  on every Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m.-9:00p.m.

We sing contemporary hyms and read the Bible one chapter a day then share each other and pray.

On October 2nd, we had a special guest from Fukuoka, Japan.
Pastor Takashi Mori, 28 yeard old yound pastor visited IJCS on a way back from their mission tirp to Cambodia.  They brought four members including two high school girls.  Pastor Mori is a one of co pastors of Hirao Baptist Church, Fukuoka, and he is responsible for Daimyo Cross Garden Capel  of Hirao Baptist Church which located at the center of Fukuoka.  They try hard to reach out to young people in Japan using concert, drama, cafe and several ways to get the interests from young people.
We received challenge from him and had good sharing time and prayer time together.

Anyone is encouraged to participate this prayer meeting.
Japanese, English, Chinese.. any language is accepted to pray and praise together.

IJCS Church Family Camp is coming soon!
November 2 and 3rd at Pulal Springs Resort, Malaysia.

Theme of the camp will be "Together We pray"

IJCS was so blessed to have Rev.Yorie Ito's Installasion Worship Service on September 15th, 2013.

Guests from Japan Baptist Convention, Singapore Baptist Convention, Singapore Baptist Seminary, Japanese Christian Fellowship (another Japanese Church in Singapore) , Kay Poh Road Baptist Church and others brought blessing to IJCS and Rev.Ito.

Rev.Kano Yoshitaka, new Executive Secretary of Japan Baptist Convention preached under the title of "Maching our eyes together".   The Scripture he chose was Mark 5:21-34 the story of Sick Woman.

The Sunday School Children sang " Ai wo Tsutae you"  -"Share the Love of Jesus".

Yes, we share the Love of Jesus together !
